Update on Jan 10: 

PKUSSI 2025 will provide limited accommodation resources, which are expected to include Zhongguan Xinyuan (Global Village) Dormitory and Building 1 Hotel, Wanliu campus dormitory, the cost of each room type is different. We cannot guarantee accommodation for every applicant. If you cannot accept the above, do not apply for PKUSSI.

Update on Feb 6: 

The first batch of dormitories in Zhongguan Xinyuan (Global Village), Peking University, that were opened for booking have already been fully reserved. PKUSSI is expected to open a very limited number of additional dormitories in Zhongguan Xinyuan (Global Village) , Peking University, as well as some dormitories in Wanliu Campus, Peking University. The exact opening date has not been determined yet, and we will notify each admitted applicant via email and announce the relevant information on our official website before the opening. As the total number of dormitories is insufficient to accommodate every applicant, you are also welcome to book off-campus accommodation on your own.

On Campus:

Accommodation is available only to students who have chosen the on-site course, and the length of the accommodation depends on the length of the on-site course chosen by the applicant,i.e. two weeks if the applicant has chosen a two-week on-site course; If the applicant chooses the four-week on-site course, the length of the stay is four weeks. 

Students can apply for on-campus accommodation at the PKU Global Village (opposite PKU east gate) for the duration of the program. Please note that vacancy is limited and on first-apply first served basis. Living on campus is not mandatory for PKUSSI students, and you can find your own off-campus accommodation.

Successful applicants will be assigned to the dormitories consisted of two or three bedrooms (one student occupies one room) with a shared living room and shared bathroom. Air-conditioning, and cable Internet are available. Please check the detail information as below.

Off-Campus: 

International students not living in on-campus housing or a hotel must, according to Chinese law, register at their local police station within 24 hours of arriving in the country. When registering, students must provide their exact address as well as a telephone number.
